Hello Fellow Travelers,

I thought I'd post some images relating to a couple of my hobbies. When I'm not on the Open Road, I design and build custom high-end turntables which, believe it or not, are still in use by audiophiles, many of whom believe that the sound produced by vinyl surpasses anything found on CDs. Here are a few of my creations...

I also enjoy painting, though I am still searching for my own "voice." Here are a few I've done...

With apologies to Jackson Pollock...

What do you enjoy besides travel? What are your hobbies?

Cheers,
Mike

I'm into photography both as a hobby and I have a professional photography business.

I'm on my way to Anza Borrego Desert State Park. I'll post some wildflowers when I get back.

Rosemary,
I also enjoy photography, but only as a hobby.

Do you have a website of your photography? I'd love to see
your work.

Also would be interested in hearing about your trip to Anza
Borrego and to hear about this year's wildflower season.

My client base is mostly children and family work. But I do have some wedding and landscape work on my web site as well.

I'll post some Anza Borrego photos when I get back. I hope I haven't missed the peak of the wildflowers. It's so difficult to predict when is the best time to go.

These are beautiful......I still have boxes of vinyl records and am so excited to think they still have possibilities.....
Thanks for giving me a whole new outlook on this.

You have created some awesome turntables! I got rid of most of my vinyl. Wish that I had kept all of my albums. I still have a few though. I need to buy a turntable, and start collecting more vinyl ....
