Does anyone know what the tallest peak - in feet in the San Francisco bay area? Including south bay, north bay, east bay and the penisula ~ all regions?
Thank you in advance!

Mt. Hamilton is 4360 feet and home to the Lick Observatory. I am not aware of any higher peaks in the area. Here's a <A HREF="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mount_Hamilton_%28California%29">link</A> to info about Mt. Hamilton at Wikipedia. If you include Sonoma County, Mt. St. Helena is close at 4,343 feet.
For comparison, <A HREF="http://www.openroad.tv/index.php?categoryid=16&p25_id=343">Mt. Diablo</A> in the East Bay is 3849 feet, and <A HREF="http://www.openroad.tv/index.php?categoryid=16&p25_id=264">Mt. Tamalpais</A> is 2571 feet.
Cheers,
Mike

Hey, thank you. I am writing about Mt Hamilton, wanted to verify if it is the tallest. This is interesting about Mt St Helena.
