Roll your clothes when you pack them—it does a great job preventing wrinkles.
Budget a daily allowance for dining AND purchases—SEPARATELY.
When eating out imagine you are the one earning a living serving someone else—smile and talk nicely to the staff. (Then tip accordingly)
Speaking of tipping: Don't tip on the tax, a personal pet peeve of mine. Tax is what the government takes, it's not part of the services of the waiter.
