I was fortunate enough to be able to accompany my 5 year old son's kindergarten class on a fieldtrip to the Bay Area Discovery Museum last week. Check out the story (http://www.openroad.tv/index.php?categoryid=16&p25_id=184) I submitted which is located on the Parks (http://www.openroad.tv/index.php?categoryid=8&catID=14) interest category page, for lots of photos and detailed info.
The Bay Area Discovery Museum is a fantastic place to go with young kids, whether you are looking for a quick fun fix, or you want to spend a whole day somewhere with the family. The location is incredible - Fort Baker in Sausalito with breathtaking views of the Golden Gate Bridge.
They are open Monday through Friday 9am - 4pm, and Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5pm.
