Hi, Village Music is the greatest record store in the world! It is closing it's doors on September 30th, 2007. Please visit this wonderful store before it's too late. John Goddard the owner says it's time to leave and he has a treasure of a store! Prices are very low and if you still own a record player, then this is the place for you! When you walk into this store you will gasp as you look up at the ceiling and walls with the Vogue picture discs, programs posters, etc. all around you. There is every category of music you can think of. All organized with loving care! He does have a few cd's and music dvd's and wonderful posters and back issues of Rolling Stone, photos, etc. It's at 9 East Blythedale, Mill Valley, CA , Phone #415-388-7400. it's open every day! Joyce,

Thanks for your post. I've been meaning to get over to Village Music since I first read this, and realize that I only have a couple more weeks until it is gone forever.

I wonder if there is much left there. I know my brother is a frequent visitor there, so I'll check with him to see if he has been there in the last week or so.
