Danilo Di Luca completes the triple crown of the great Classics winning Liège-Bastogne-Liège. A great win for the Italian rider.

I'm sure he's now looking forward to the Giro which starts in less than two weeks.
Wow, is it May already?!

Some of the early season classics have been less than exciting for me...especially with Hincapie crashing here in the Tour of Cali and not racing in any of the classics.
But LBL seems like it was a great one with Di Luca riding away from the field in the final kilometers. He was a force to be reckoned with!
I am excited for the Giro...should be a great race and rather wide open as to who could win. I don't see Di Luca contending for the overall...but he will be after some stage wins for sure.

No, he's definitely not a GC contender, but he will still be a force for several stages, I'm sure.

Hmmm, I guess we can't predict the future very well.
It looks as though Di Luca is poised to win the Giro this year.
Well, back to filing on lugs and stems.

Funny Conor...who wuddah thunk it ;) Di Luca road one heck of a race. And even though Simoni came in 4th...I think for a 35 year old rider, he held his own well.
By the way....GREAT work on that stem!
