Welcome to the fishing forum! I'm Craig Hanson co-moderator of the forum. My addiction to fishing started the first time my grandfather put a twig and piece of mono in my hands. That was more than 45 years ago, and I've never let go of that twig.
For several years I had a regular outdoor segment on KRON-TV. I was also host and producer of the popular local TV show, Gone Fishing. These days I write a fishing column for Bay/Delta Yachtsman magazine, and reguarly contribute to Pacific Coast Sportfishing magazine.
I'm also producer of the award-winning Hooked on Fishing the Golden Gate (http://www.alureproductions.com), an action-packed four-volume DVD series covering every aspect of saltwater fishing in Northern California.
Having grown up in San Francisco, I specialize in all forms of saltwater angling, but feel equally comfortable talking about the best freshwater hot spots and techniques. i welcome your questions pertaining to all forms of angling.
